1. Who processes your payment

All payments on CarRadar are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as Merchant of Record. Dodo Payments is the seller of record for your transaction: it collects payment, applies and remits VAT or other applicable taxes based on your billing country, and issues your receipt/invoice by email after every charge. Prices shown on CarRadar include VAT. If you need an invoice reissued or corrected, contact us at [email protected] and we will arrange it with Dodo Payments.

2. Subscriptions: 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of the first purchase, without giving a reason. Your plan starts immediately at your express request: your tokens, paid marketplaces and analytics are available right away. For that reason, if you withdraw within the 14-day period we will refund the amount paid minus a proportionate amountfor the time during which you had access, in line with Article 14(3) of Directive 2011/83/EU. This deduction applies even if you never spent a token, because the plan's paid features were available to you from the moment of purchase. If you also spent subscription tokens, we may additionally deduct their value at the standard single-pack token rate (never more than the amount you paid).

Refunds go to your original payment method, processed by Dodo Payments, within 14 days of your request.

3. Cancelling a subscription later

You can cancel any time in Account > Wallet > Cancel subscription, no email, call, or reason needed. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep full access until then and are not charged again. Renewal payments already made for a period you are in are not refundable once the 14-day window from that charge has passed, except where required by law or when something went wrong on our side (see Section 5).

4. Token packs: immediate delivery

Token packs are digital content delivered immediately: the tokens are credited to your wallet as soon as payment completes. During checkout you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU).

Beyond what the law requires, we offer a voluntary guarantee: if you have not spent a single token from a pack, we will refund that pack in full within 14 days of purchase, on request. Once any token from the pack has been used, the pack is non-refundable. Purchased tokens never expire and survive subscription changes and cancellations. If a technical fault on our side means your tokens were not credited or a paid feature did not work, Section 5 applies.

5. Faulty or non-conforming service

Independently of the withdrawal right, EU law (Directive 2019/770 on digital content and services) gives you remedies if the service does not work as described: we will first fix the problem, and if we cannot within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a proportionate price reduction or a refund. Report problems to [email protected] and include your account email and the approximate time of the issue.

6. How to request a refund or withdraw

Email [email protected]from your account email with the subject "Refund request", or use the model withdrawal form below. We confirm receipt within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 14 days via Dodo Payments to your original payment method.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a card dispute, nearly all issues are resolved faster by email. Accounts with fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.
